Aubrey Dunn, Commissioner of Public Lands, State of New Mexico, just posted his comments to changes to Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Onshore Orders 4 and 5.
The Commissioner expressed numerous concerns including: “This proposal is overly burdensome and does not allow for industry best practices to be used in the field. In an era of mounting BLM operational inefficiency in New Mexico, the proposed rules will likewise crate a hindrance on oil and gas development in the state…”
